Teacher Conferences
The first in-person (and virtual) Teacher Conferences took place this past October at Lincoln.
The Teacher Appreciation committee dedicated $1,000 to a catered luncheon for family/teacher conferences.
Staff enjoyed a sandwich spread from Starship served in the teacher's lounge on Thursday 10/27. The teachers were so thankful to enjoy this catered lunch and many came down after long conferences and were still able grab from a wide selection.
Special thanks to Ms. Lowry and Mr. C for their support with setup!
Thank you to the Lincoln community for a successful Fall Book Fair!
While we're still calculating our final numbers, we're estimating approximately $15,000 in sales. The PTO will receive up to 40% back in books for our school!
We'll be working with Ms. Meisinger to develop a wish list of books, with a focus on getting social justice titles for our classrooms.
Sending a HUGE thank you to Ms. Meisinger and all the volunteers who gave their time to make this fair a success.

Giving Tuesday Fundraiser
November 29th is Giving Tuesday, which provides a great opportunity to give back to the Lincoln School community through a donation to the Lincoln PTO.
We are raising funds this year to help our teachers procure much needed materials and supplies for their classrooms. We’ve set a goal for Giving Tuesday of raising $5,000.
We already have secured a matching donation of up to $1,000, giving us a great chance to make a huge impact for our teachers, their classrooms and our students.
The Lincoln Elementary PTO is a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.

Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly
Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration of the history and culture of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities. The event, which spans from September 15 to October 15, commemorates how those communities have influenced and contributed to American society at large.
On October 20, during the school day, the PTO sponsored a Peruvian Folk dance group. The performance/assembly was divided into three parts: a dance, teaching the basic steps, and demonstration of some musical instruments. Thank you to Señoras Jacoby and Ruiz for organizing.
