SUBJECT: Lincoln PTO Newsletter - February 2025

LINCOLN PTO NEWSLETTER  ||  PTOLINCOLN.ORG  ||  FEBRUARY 2025

Thank You to Our Lincoln Community!

As I'm sure you've heard, our Lincoln Carnival was a HUGE success. We could not have pulled it off without the support and assistance of our Lincoln Lion families.

A big thank you to the PTO, Carnival Committee, and parent volunteers for making the magic happen. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our community come together in fun and collaboration. You really did make this year's Carnival the best yet! 🥳

What's Next? We're looking forward to Lincoln Lions Academy's Spring Session (registration is now open), the last few months of school, and for some spring weather!

- Delilah & Beky

We Did It! We raised $16,000+!

We're still tallying everything up for a final total, but so far we're excited to announce that we raised $16,000, which means we've exceeded our goal!

Thank you to everyone who made both the Lincoln Soirée and our 75th Annual Lincoln Carnival a phenomenal success! These events brought our community together for unforgettable moments of fun, connection, and celebration, and all in support of the Lincoln PTO.

To all the students, families, and local businesses who contributed and attended—thank you for keeping this beloved tradition alive.

  • Our Lincoln Soirée was a fantastic night! Around 125 guests gathered at Pleasant Home to dance, dine, sip, and socialize—all while bidding on exciting auction items. Alumni, current staff, and parents came together for a memorable evening of fun and community.

  • The 75th Annual Lincoln Carnival was another huge success! A big thank you to our incredible sponsors—Bulley & Andrews, Petite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, Tooth Buds Pediatric Dentistry, Senator Don Harmon, and Battistoni, Beam, Polivka Orthodontics—for their generous support.

We’re grateful for the many volunteers, including former students (even a group from the Class of ’75!), teachers, and parents, who made it all possible. Your donations to the Ticket of Choice, Cakewalk, and Silent Auction created some truly exciting moments.

📅Mark your calendars for the 76th Annual Lincoln Carnival on
February 7, 2026!

🪴Garden Club Update

Thank You to all our Lincoln Lions who have participated in our Garden Club sessions this fall. We've spent several lunches since the start of the school year harvesting, planting, and cleaning up our school garden. Most recently we picked radishes and planted bulbs that will flower in the spring.

Stop by the garden anytime to check out what's in bloom and maybe hunt for some beneficial insects!

Volunteer Opportunity! We're also looking for all interested adults who would be interested in assisting with the garden in the spring, over the summer, and next fall!

Reach out to Amanda Turnbull (turnbull.amanda@gmail.com) if you might be interested. No experience necessary!
